Born and raised in Amami, I'm a true islander, but since there was no job I wanted on the island, I moved to Tokyo at the age of 19. After a tough life in Tokyo living in a one-room apartment with 7-8 other people, I went to the US, but NY was too cold, so I came back to Amami.
When he returned, he worked as a lifeguard and rediscovered the charm of the Amami sea. After his father passed away, he inherited the boat he owned. He wanted people on and off the island to know about the Amami sea that his father loved, so he decided to go independent!
Even though I was born and raised in Amami, there is still a lot I don't know about! Let's discover a new side of Amami together!
